⚡️ National Sprint Futures – 17th May ⚡️

A new national sprint event is coming to Herne Hill Velodrome this spring!

On 17th May, National Sprint Futures will bring together the country’s best Youth and Junior sprinters for a full day of fast, exciting racing — plus a dedicated support event for U12 & U10(2nd Year) riders to experience the thrill of sprinting.

🚴‍♂️ Event line-up:
• Flying 200
• Keirin (3 rounds)
• Match Sprints (3 rounds)
• Team Sprint (non-series event)

Keirin and Sprint events will run in ladder formats, matching riders against others of similar level — competitive, confidence-building racing for everyone.

Youth category: Open to U16 & U14 riders
🏅 Special presentations for top U14s (Open & Girls)
⚙️ U14s may use U16 gears (max 7.18m rollout), but no disc/deep section wheels

🔥 The Team Sprint will be racing for bragging rights and HHV track records — we’d love to see strong club representation on the start line!

🚴 South East Region – Inter-Regional Track Championships 2026 🚴

We’re thrilled to announce that the South East Region will once again compete at the British Cycling Inter-Regional Youth Championships — the top Youth Track event of the year!

📍 Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome
📅 19–20 September 2026

Two days of intense racing with the nation’s best youth riders battling across endurance, sprint, and team events.

🚴 Riders Wanted

We’re selecting 8 riders:
• 4 Open category (born 2010–2011)
• 4 Girls (born 2010–2012)
