British Cycling South East Regional Board is proud to present new event on the National Youth calendar – the Youth Tour of Kent.

Taking place over 20–21 June, the race will feature three stages across two exciting circuits in the heart of the Garden of England, giving young riders a thrilling weekend of competitive racing.

Day 1 – 20 June
Cyclopark (DA11 7NP)
Cyclopark, which hosted the British Cycling National Youth Circuit Championships in 2024, will host the first two stages.

Stage 1 – Individual Time Trial: 2.5km, one lap of the circuit (anticlockwise)

Stage 2 – Criterium Race: Fast, technical circuit race (clockwise)

Day 2 – 21 June
Lydden Hill Race Circuit (CT4 6RY)
Located between Canterbury and Dover, Lydden Hill will host the Queen Stage, the decisive stage of the weekend on a challenging and punchy circuit.

The last time Lydden Hill hosted a National Youth race was in 2021, when current WorldTour stars Matthew Brennan and Cat Ferguson both shined in the race.

Mini Tour of Kent – U12 Support Event
Running alongside the main Youth Tour, the Mini Tour of Kent will give U12 riders a taste of competitive racing, with two criterium races — one on each circuit in the morning of each day.

Awards and Special Podiums
Leader jerseys for General Classification and Combativity will be awarded after each stage across all categories.

Special podiums will recognize up-and-coming riders, with awards for the top-3 first-year riders in each category.
