Notice of Annual General Meeting

Tuesday 19 September, 7pm

The Harlequin Theatre & Cinema, Warwick Rd, Redhill RH1 1NN

We are writing to give notice of the Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the South East Region 2023 at the above time and venue.

AGMs are a key part of our strategy to Lead our Sport, Inspire our Communities and the meeting is open to all members to attend either as a representative of your cycling club, or as a private member. They provide a chance to meet other members of the British Cycling community and lend a voice and vote on activities in your region.

Should you wish to represent your club and have their voting rights, please agree this with your club/team secretary in the first instance. The voting rights of Private Members will be in accordance with bye-law 5 and a ballot of those attending will be made to decide on those appointed to vote.

Please note all nominations and proposals must appear on the agenda paper for the AGM and any requested amendment to the agenda items must be received by the Secretary by 5pm on Tuesday 5 September to the British Cycling South East Region Secretary: bcsoutheastsecretary@outlook.com.

The full agenda including proposals, nominations and reports will be circulated to all members 10 days before the meeting.

All attendees must register by Tuesday 5 September by emailing bcsoutheastsecretary@outlook.com. When confirming your attendance, please include your membership number (985273) and whether you’re representing a club or team, or attending as a Private Member. If you are representing a club or team, please include the name of club or team in the email.

The AGM meeting will follow all British Cycling bye-laws as detailed in the Bye-Laws section of the British Cycling website.

For any questions about the AGM please contact the British Cycling South East Region Secretary: bcsoutheastsecretary@outlook.com.

Yours sincerely,

British Cycling South East Board
