In addition to the above, John Barclay was inducted into BC’s Cycling Hall of Fame; awarded CTT’s Bidlake Trophy, the Pedal Club’s Golden Book and to top it all was awarded an MBE in the Queen’s New Year Honour’s list. The Pedal Club has also initiated a “Young Rider Scheme” in John’s name.
